While I’m REALLY good at grocery shopping and assembling meals, I’m not as good at clothes shopping and assembling outfits! It’s just not my thing. I recently tried out the online personal shopping service called Stitch Fix. It’s everything I want, and nothing I don’t: simple, affordable, convenient, and seamless. All you do is fill out a personal style questionnaire, and leave any notes about your likes/dislikes, and they send you 5 hand-picked items each month on the date you prefer. Send back what you do not like, and only be charged for the items you keep! For someone like me who doesn’t enjoy scouring the internet or cruising the mall to find items I like, it feels like an easy button!
No mall parking, no dressing rooms, no sales people, no lines and no trips back to the store to return items!
How Stitch Fix works:
1) Fill out your personal style profile.
2) Schedule your box shipment date.
3) Receive your “Fix” or box filled with 5 items and style cards for how to wear each item :).
4) Take 3 days to decide what you want to keep and return the rest in the pre-paid mailing bag!
5) Checkout: log on to your account and pay for the items you want to keep. If you keep ’em all, you save 25%!
6) Leave feedback for your stylist regarding any changes or specific needs for your next box
